Biography

Zachary A. Cavins, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist. After graduating from Florida State University, Dr. Cavins received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete a podiatric medicine and surgery residency at AdventHealth East Orlando where he achieved the rank of Chief Resident. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

He specializes in elective and reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot and ankle surgery. Dr. Cavins actively participates in podiatric research and has collaborated with many leaders in the field to advance the delivery of podiatric medicine for patients. He has written numerous papers in multiple national peer-reviewed journals. When Dr. Cavins is not practicing, he spends his time with his wife and sons.
