What is the hottest sorority at LSU? ›

Congratulations Alpha Phi for winning The Trophy of Aphrodite! You have now been recognized and voted as the hottest sorority at LSU.

Kappa Delta (“KD”) is considered an up-and-coming sorority, one that has risen to the top tier in terms of reputation in recent decades. This reputation is by no means uniform, which may be due to the diversity of girls who pledge KD.

The five principles SLG upholds are academics, community service, cultural awareness, social interaction, and morals and ethics. SLG is the first and only multicultural sorority on campus!

On the superficial level, top-tier sororities have members who are considered conventionally beautiful, wealthy, and socially active on campus. A survey conducted by Northwestern under the Institute of Policy Research evaluated participants' critiques and statements addressing their time in Greek life.

No chapter may purchase alcohol with sorority funds, regardless of state law. No individual may coordinate the collection of funds to purchase alcohol for a Kappa Delta sponsored or co-sponsored event.

Kappa Delta offers its members opportunities to develop leadership skills, learn from others, grow personally and take action on issues that are important to them.

Hazing Policy

Kappa Delta Sorority does not condone hazing of any kind, in any of her collegiate chapters. Kappa Delta Sorority is concerned about the human dignity of her new members and frowns upon any activity that is degrading. Kappa Delta Sorority does not permit immature action in new member activities.

Kappa Delta Sorority provides experiences that build confidence in women and inspire them to action through the power of lifelong friendship. Kappa Delta does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, disability, national origin or sexual orientation. The membership of Kappa Delta is open to women only.
